Elite Diams will only supply to its clients, diamonds which have been fully certificated by one of the reputable globally recognized gemological laboratories. In most cases this will be the Gemological Institute of America, in other words, GIA issued grading report. The certificates which accompany each and every diamond are the clients’ guarantee of the complete authenticity of their investment. It is to be noted that the certificate is a scientific document, not a valuation. The latter is subject to market forces and changes constantly just like any other market. Making an in investment in a fancy colored diamond is a serious business. Owners store their stone(s) in a trusted and safe place while not being worn or used in any way. If the stone is stored at home, then specific insurance for it other than general household insurance may be considered. Elite Diams’ sources subscribe to the Kimberley Process, an agreement within the industry that forbids the trade in so called ‘blood or conflict diamonds’. In fact, many of Elite Diams sources are committed to socially responsible business practices ensuring that their operations benefit local and native communities, i.e Native North Americans, African and Australian Aboriginals making the investment in fancy colored diamonds an ethical one.
